listenthru vs Linkfire

A Linkfire alternative built for artists who run their own ads

Linkfire is one of the best-known smart link platforms in music, used widely by labels. listenthru does the same core job — one link that sends every listener to their service — and focuses on showing which posts and ads lead people to listen.

Free plan with up to 3 live releases. No card needed.

Linkfire is a music marketing platform centred on smart links (often on the lnk.to domain), with pre-release links and analytics, and it is used by many labels and distributors.

listenthru is a smaller, self-serve tool for artists, managers and labels. You paste one link, share the page, and every visit is credited to the post, ad or QR code it came from.

What listenthru does

When Linkfire may suit you better

  • Your label or distributor already runs its links through Linkfire.
  • You need an established platform used across a large catalogue.

When listenthru fits

  • You run Meta or TikTok ads and want listens sent back as conversions, server-side.
  • You want a free plan and to be set up in a minute.
  • Your listeners are in Japan, Korea or Greater China, where local services such as LINE MUSIC, Melon or KKBOX matter.

Questions

Can I use my lnk.to pre-save link with listenthru?

Yes. Add it to your page and the button reads Pre-save until release day. From release day, listenthru looks the release up on each service and points the buttons at it.

Does listenthru send conversions to Meta and TikTok?

Yes. The Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel work on every plan. Pro also sends the same events from listenthru’s server through the Meta Conversions API and TikTok Events API, deduplicated with a shared event ID.

Do I have to move every link at once?

No. Make a listenthru page for your next release and keep your existing links running. Nothing on the other service needs to change.
